Tottenham Hotspur are set to step up their attempts to sign Club Brugge starlet Antonio Nusa.

Fabrizio Romano has shared the latest on Spurs’ interest in the Norwegian winger and claims a fresh round of talks between Tottenham and Club Brugge have been scheduled.

The transfer insider also notes that Tottenham are aware of interest in Antonio Nusa and are looking to wrap up a deal for the 18-year-old ‘as soon as possible’.

Should Nusa sign for Spurs this month, Romano states a deal could be agreed for the youngster to officially join up with Tottenham this summer.

Tottenham set for fresh talks over Nusa deal

Romano took to X on Saturday evening and shared a fresh update on Tottenham’s pursuit of Nusa.

He wrote: “Understand Antonio Nusa deal will enter into key stages soon as there’s new round of talks scheduled between Tottenham and Club Brugge.

“Spurs know about other clubs interest and want to push asap. Nusa does NOT want to leave now… but deal could be agreed for July.”

Tottenham are believed to be the closest to striking a £25 million deal to sign Nusa this month despite interest from a host of top clubs, including Chelsea.

Yet, Belgian sources have also suggested that talks have been exploratory up until this point, with Spurs yet to make an official offer.

Nusa has caught the attention of a host of top clubs after an impressive season in the Jupiler Pro League so far.

The Norwegian winger has had a hand in seven goals in 27 appearances for Club Brugge in all competitions this term.

It’s been widely reported that Spurs would look to secure a move for Nusa this month before loaning him back to Club Brugge for the remainder of the campaign.

We’ve seen the club benefit massively from this type of deal recently, with Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie both being loaned back to FC Metz and Udinese respectively before joining up with Tottenham a year later.
