Tottenham now pushing hardest for ‘extremely skilled’ player, he’s intrigued by Spurs move

Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs who are pushing the hardest for the signature of Roony Bardghji this summer.

Ange Postecoglou’s side are already being linked with a host of players ahead of the summer transfer window.

And it seems a potential swoop for yet another Swede could be on the cards with Bardghi a player who has caught their eye.

According to transfer guru Graeme Bailey of HITC Football, Spurs are among the clubs who are putting in the most effort currently to sign the 18-year-old.

It is apparent the youngster is catching the eye of many across the Premier League with his future under speculation.

The player is currently refusing to ink a new deal with FC Copenhagen which has seen him frozen out from the starting XI.

And this has seen the likes of Aston Villa, Manchester United and Newcastle United show an interest in the player.

Going into the summer window, the 18-year-old will have just 18 months remaining on his deal with the Danish side.

Copenhagen will see Bardghji’s current deal expire in December 2025 if he does not sign a new deal.

And going by recent reports, it seems as if the Swede is eyeing a potential move away this summer as he refuses to put pen to paper.

This is, after all, a player who has already spoken about his potential interest in moving to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Just last month, Bardghji admitted it was ‘fun to think about‘ the prospect of making the move to N17.

The youngster could follow his compatriot Lucas Bergvall in making the move to Spurs this summer with the midfielder set to join up at Hotspur Way at the end of the season.

But it is apparent this is a player who is going to be in high demand this summer with Football Talent Scout, Jacek Kulig, hailing the 18-year-old as ‘extremely skilled‘.
