Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly expressed their admiration for Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey.
That’s according to The Athletic, which claims that Spurs are among the sides who are keen on signing the Aston Villa star.
Jacob Ramsey is also attracting interest from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, with both Bayern and Spurs among the sides who have made their admiration for the midfielder ‘clear’.

Villa are in a position where they will have to raise funds before June to avoid breaching profit and sustainability rules.
This has alerted potential suitors to Ramsey, with Tottenham registering their interest in the 22-year-old.
Tottenham express interest in Ramsey
The Athletic claims that should Villa opt to cash in on their academy graduate, Ramsey won’t be short of options.
Tottenham and Bayern have ‘made their admiration for Ramsey clear’. But it remains unclear whether or not Villa would consider the sale of a key player in Unai Emery’s side.
The Villains would normally rule out Ramsey departing but the club do need to make a sale before June and it is believed that offers above £50 million would be considered.

Tottenham are in the market for a new midfielder ahead of Thursday’s deadline, with Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher of interest.
Ramsey is a fresh name to be thrown into the mix from Spurs’ point of view and the youngster seems like an ideal fit for Ange Postecoglou’s side on paper.
The Villa Academy product has established himself as a key man under Emery in the Midlands.
His high energy style and quality on the ball would lend itself well to Postecoglou’s demands. But we would be surprised if Tottenham stumped up over £50 million to land the midfielder, especially before Thursday’s deadline.
It has been widely reported that Spurs would have to move Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on before going for an expensive option in midfield.
With the Dane no closer to leaving north London this week, it’s difficult to see Spurs moving on that front for the time being.
