Tottenham Hotspur are now believed to be monitoring another Nottingham Forest player amid the club’s FFP concerns.
Going into the summer transfer window, Forest are one of the clubs who may be forced to sell players quickly before 30 June to balance their books.
Daniel Levy has already provided Forest with some financial relief last summer when Tottenham brought Brennan Johnson to north London.
However, having just managed to remain in the Premier League ahead of next season, Forest could find themselves selling some of their top talents once again.
And Ange Postecoglou‘s side would seemingly be in the market for a number of them if Forest are pushed into selling their assets.
Having already been linked with a number of Forest’s players following the deal for Johnson last summer, it now seems Spurs have been monitoring the development of one of Nuno Espirito Santo’s defenders.

Defence is a position which Postecoglou has made no disguises over wanting to improve ahead of the summer transfer window.
“If you’re saying ‘is it an area we can strengthen?’, yes it’s an area we will probably look at,” he said.
Although the Australian may have brought in Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin already this season, Europa League qualification will likely test the depth of Tottenham’s squad.
The Dutchman has experienced injury issues this season and, having offloaded Eric Dier, a fourth-choice centre-back could be crucial to Tottenham’s success next season.
According to The Athletic, Tottenham are one of the clubs who have been monitoring the progress of Forest centre-back Murillo.
Spurs are among a number of clubs – including Chelsea – to have shown an interest in the Brazilian centre-back.
It is claimed the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid are also eyeing a potential move for the defender who Forest reportedly value at around £60m.

With Forest potentially being forced into a big sale before the end of June, Spurs are seemingly monitoring the situation of a number of their players.
Murillo is just the latest having enjoyed an impressive first season in England which saw Jermaine Jenas hail him as “absolutely sensational” on Match of the Day.
But it is not just the defender who Spurs are said to be eyeing from the City Ground.
- Morgan Gibbs-White
Tottenham have also been linked with a potential move for Forest’s attacking midfielder with Gibbs-White another player who could fetch big money.
The Englishman enjoyed a solid campaign for Forest as he helped to keep them afloat, but bigger things may be awaiting the 24-year-old after providing 15 goal contributions in the league alone.
- Callum Hudson-Odoi
The former Chelsea winger would not command the same type of price tag as either Gibbs-White or Murillo this summer, but he has still had an impressive campaign.
Hudson-Odoi turned it on over the final weeks of the campaign and ended the season having netted eight goals in the league.
