One tweet which resurfaces on X every so often is one from former Tottenham striker Mido urging the North London club to sign Mohamed Salah during his time at Basel.
Daniel Levy and Tottenham never took up Mido on his advice to sign the Liverpool forward back in 2014, but his latest recommendation, Spurs have actually shown an interest in.
Now, the Tottenham cult hero looks to have been proven correct yet again with his eye for talent as his latest recommended target has just scooped a prestigious award.

Mido’s Omar Marmoush recommendation to Tottenham
Back in April, Mido told Tottenham that Frankfurt winger Omar Marmoush was another player they should sign. The former Tottenham player believes the 25-year-old would be a perfect fit for Ange Postecoglou’s system being a versatile forward who works hard and scores goals.
Tottenham looked to have taken up Mido’s advice by making Marmoush a target back in the summer, however, they failed to act on their interest.
The player is now a target for many other European giants including Manchester United and Liverpool and his recent performances are proving Mido correct.

Marmoush’s impressive form for Frankfurt continues as the winger has just been awarded the Bundesliga Player of the Month award for September.
