Tottenham are set for another busy summer transfer window, which will give Ange Postecoglou a chance to freshen up his playing options.
The Spurs boss impressed in his first season in charge, with a new and exciting style of play boosted by some early victories.
However, by the end of the Premier League season, it was clear that there was still plenty of work that needed to be done within the squad.
Some players simply don’t fit the style, others may not possess the quality required to compete at the top end, while the next campaign features a return to the Europa League.
With all these factors involved, Tottenham must get the summer transfer window right, with Spurs moving quickly to secure another loan for Timo Werner.
Other deals could be on the cards early in the market, including one for long-term target Conor Gallagher.

Tottenham prepare Conor Gallagher transfer move
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Tottenham have decided they will pursue a move for Gallagher this summer.
Spurs have been linked with a switch for the England international for over one year, with his performances at Chelsea catching the eye.
Gallagher has just one year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, leading to questions over whether he will stay or leave this summer.
The Blues are claimed to be holding out for £50million to let the midfielder leave, however, the Lilywhites believe that their rivals will have to sell before the Profit and Sustainability period ends later this month.
Unfortunately for Tottenham, they aren’t the only team showing interest as Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid are also in the mix.
Meanwhile, a new contract for Gallagher, who has worn the Chelsea armband this season, cannot be fully ruled out.

Why do Tottenham want Conor Gallagher?
With the move for Gallagher being heavily rumoured, there are naturally questions surrounding why Tottenham would want to land the midfielder.
At just 24 years old, there is plenty of potential that could allow him to grow further while lowering the age profile of the squad, while his homegrown status helps Spurs meet the rules surrounding registration.
In terms of his playing style, Gallagher is an energetic presence in the middle, something that fits Postecoglou’s team perfectly.
His relentless pressing is one thing, but there is quality on the ball too that would help take the team into another gear.
On the financial side, there is also a chance to land a player who is worth more than his potential price tag, given his contract status and the financial position at Chelsea.
It all adds up towards a deal that could work out well for Tottenham.
