Ahead of the summer window, The Spurs News has been told Tottenham are looking to add a versatile full-back to their squad.

And they do not come much more versatile than Liverpool’s Gomez.

The Englishman has now played across four different positions this season, including all three positions in defence and even as a defensive midfielder.

Although he is yet to find the back of the net in his 210 appearances. for the club, he has earned the trust of Klopp in that Liverpool backline.

The Spurs News has also been told that Tottenham are keeping an eye out also for a new centre-back over the coming months.

Although there have been some free agent names linked with the club, Gomez is a player who could cover numerous positions for Postecoglou.

Steve McManaman has hailed the defender as ‘priceless‘, however, with Klopp’s departure set for the summer, it will be interesting to see whether this has an effect on the likes of Gomez.
