Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jude Soonsup-Bell could be set to leave the club on loan in January.

Jude Soonsup-Bell is one of the brightest academy talents at Hotspur Way. He’s currently a regular starter for the Premier League 2 squad, locking down the striker role in the youth setup.

But after excelling at this level, Ange Postecoglou could send him away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in order to play some first-team level football at another club.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed there is definitely truth in this.

Fabrizio Romano on Jude Soonsup-Bell

Ever-reliable football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, took to X today to give an update on the youngster’s future. He wrote:

‘Tottenham U21 talent Jude Soonsup-Bell could leave the club on loan in January as he’s attracting interest from Championship and League One clubs.’

The Championship/League 1 would be a fantastic move for the 19-year-old, given that he’s more than excelling at the moment.

The youngster has nine goals and five assists in 12 games this season. He’s making the Premier League 2 look light work.

When did Jude Soonsup-Bell sign for Tottenham Hotspur?

The striker didn’t come through the academy ranks but was actually signed from a Premier League rival -Chelsea.

In January 2023, Tottenham completed a deal with Chelsea for Soonsup-Bell, joining on a deal until June 2025.

He rejected a move to Manchester City in favour of the north London club and was the subject of interest from abroad.

The young forward has a huge future ahead of him at Hotspur Way, but the best way to accelerate this is to loan him out to develop him physically.

With no real number nine at the club, there’s no saying he couldn’t go away and smash it – coming back hungry to play in White.

Tottenham fans will be sincerely hoping he does so, wherever his destination may be.
