Tottenham Hotspur have now checked in on the situation of Lille striker Jonathan David.
The summer transfer window will see Spurs’ striker situation questioned as they continue to figure out what next after Harry Kane.
But it seems the club are already putting the feelers out over potential striker targets.

Tottenham monitoring Jonathan David
According to transfer guru Graeme Bailey for HITC Football, Spurs are one of the clubs showing an interest in the Canadian.
A number of Premier League clubs have been credited with an interest in David, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham United.
It is claimed those five English clubs have also checked in on David in recent weeks.
But a move from Spurs is clearly likely to be met by some serious competition from some of the biggest clubs in the country.

Tottenham’s striker situation
Tottenham’s striker situation seems very much up in the air going into the summer transfer window.
The Spurs News has been told by Bailey that the Lilywhites are open to the idea of selling Richarlison this summer.
Richarlison has shown impressive form of late in the Premier League, but there is no suggestion he can continue this over a long period of time.
David is a player who has impressed massively in Ligue 1 over recent years.
The Canaidian has now netted 14 times in the French top flight this season and currently finds himself in a rich vein of form.
He returned 24 league goals last term which was even more than what Lionel Messi returned with Paris Saint-Germain.
David has been described as an ‘unbelievable finisher‘ by journalist Austin Ditlhobolo following his impressive transition after leaving Gent.
Question marks will naturally surround whether he can translate this into the Premier League, but he’s certainly catching the eye whilst playing in France.
