Tottenham Hotspur have received an offer from La Liga club Sevilla to sign Alejo Veliz on loan.
David Ornstein broke the news on Wednesday evening and claims that Sevilla’s offer is to take the Argentine on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The Athletic journalist notes that it would be a straight loan, with no option to buy, and Tottenham are set to decide on Veliz’s future today.

Sevilla make offer for Veliz
Ornstein took to X last night and shared an update on Sevilla’s interest in Veliz.
He wrote: “Tottenham have tonight received offer from Sevilla to sign Alejo Veliz. Proposal for 20yo Argentina youth striker a straight loan, no option to buy.
“THFC will make decision on Deadline Day whether to sanction Sevilla FC move or not.”
Veliz made the switch to north London from Rosario Central for a fee worth £13 million over the summer.
The 20-year-old has mainly been used as an option from the bench during the first half of the season.
He did net his first goal for the club against Brighton last month but was unfortunate to pick up a knee injury just days later.

After the arrival of Timo Werner and the return of Dane Scarlett after a spell at Ipswich Town, Spurs are well-stocked up front.
Richarlison is in fine form at the moment and skipper Heung-Min Son will also return from the Asian Cup this month.
Veliz may benefit from heading out on loan for the rest of the season where he may get more opportunities at a club like Sevilla.
Nevertheless, Postecoglou will be wary of leaving himself short of options given the fact that Spurs have struggled with injuries this season.
