Tottenham Hotspur have sent their scouts to watch the 23-year-old striker Kevin Denkey ahead of the summer.

A new striker could be on the radar this summer with question marks still lying over whether Richarlison is good enough to succeed Harry Kane.

And it seems Ange Postecoglou’s men have already been to the Belgian capital to get a glimpse of the Togolese striker.

Tottenham interest in Kevin Denkey

According to Footmercato, Tottenham are one of the sides who are showing a keen interest in the 23-year-old.

But Spurs will not be alone in their potential pursuit of the striker with Borussia Dortmund also credited with an interest.

With clubs circling over their young striker, Cercle Brugge have already slapped a €20m (£17m) price tag on his head.

Praise from Alderweireld

It is apparent this is a striker who is impressing in the Belgian top flight Cercle Brugge.

Denkey has now provided a stunning return of 22 goals in his 26 league appearances which has earned the praise of his fellow players.

Former Spurs defender Toby Alderweireld has already hailed the 23-year-old as the ‘best striker‘ in the Belgian top flight.

Question marks surround Richarlison’s future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Spurs News have been told the club would consider selling the Brazilian if they could turn a profit on him this summer.

Richarlison has been able to provide Tottenham with 11 goals across all competitions which is an improvement on last season.

But Denkey has already doubled that in the league alone.

Of course, it is a gamble bringing in a striker from a league such as the Belgian top flight, but he has the approval of Alderweireld.
