Archie Gray has struggled for game time at Tottenham Hotspur with the midfielder playing just 33 Premier League minutes.
In the Europa League and Carabao Cup, he has started three times, however, the 18-year-old is likely to want more time on the pitch. But even then, he’s having to play as a full-back and has been used all the way across the defence by Ange Postecoglou.
Now, the former Leeds United man must decide whether to stay and fight for his place at Tottenham or push to find a club where his minutes will increase.
Postecoglou has spoken of how highly he rates Gray, however, he has several midfield options ahead of him and has struggled to fit him into the team this season. Now, a Spanish club have been the first to make a move to land him in January.

Sevilla want to sign Archie Gray on loan in January
Sevilla are interested in signing Archie Gray in January and the player could be made available for loan in the next transfer window, according to Muchodeporte.
The Spanish club’s sporting director Victor Orta is a big fan of the teenager having worked with him at Leeds and wants to reunite in January.
Sevilla are aware of his limited minutes in the Premier League and are keen to take advantage to fulfil Garcia Pimienta’s desire to sign a midfielder.
The report from Spain believes that Gray could be on the market this winter and the La Liga club are preparing to make their move for him.
Should Tottenham allow Archie Gray to leave in January?
No is the answer. This deal feels like a bit of a non-starter as whilst Gray’s minutes have been limited, he has been a key player in the cup competitions.
The 18-year-old has looked promising when presented with opportunities and with so many games coming up, his presence in the squad will be needed.
Tottenham face a busy run coming up with six games in the space of 18 days which includes games against AZ Alkmaar, Crystal Palace, Man City twice, Aston Villa and Galatasaray.
