Tottenham Hotspur could make a sensational return in the summer transfer window for a player who snubbed them in the winter market.
It ended up being quite an impressive January window for the Lilywhites with two additions brought in, Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin, along with the signing for the future, Lucas Bergvall.
One player who was also believed to be on their radar was the Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa, but he chose to head in a different direction.

Antonio Nusa interest remains for Tottenham
Over the January transfer window, the likes of Fabrizio Romano had linked the north London outfit with the winger.
It was suggested key talks were underway between the two clubs, before, seemingly out of nowhere, Brentford swooped in and agreed a deal for around £25m to sign Nusa.
The transfer saga continued, with Nusa reportedly failing his medical to join the Bees. And now, according to Nieuwsblad, it has been suggested Spurs remain one of the ‘candidates’ along with Chelsea and Newcastle United for Nusa.

Is Nusa worth the risk?
The reported failed medical could be a huge concern for any club who are still interested in potentially bringing in the Norwegian this summer.
Fortunately for Spurs, this is a position they are well stocked in with the likes of Werner, Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski at hand for Ange Postecoglou along with his captain, Heung-min Son.
The 18-year-old – who has been hailed ‘incredibly exciting’ by Martin Odegaard – has been far from prolific in the Belgian top flight thus far with just three goals and two assists to his name this season.
Although Son has found his best form again this season, it is no doubt Spurs will have to start considering his long-term replacement in the coming years.
Perhaps Nusa could develop into a real contender to be just that player, however, it still feels premature to suggest his knee problems – at the age of 18 – could be worth the risk.
