Tottenham Hotspur could decide to cash in on a signing made during Antonio Conte’s tenure this summer.
Ange Postecoglou will be fully aware of the task at hand as he bids to transform Spurs into genuine title contenders.
The Aussie has had just two transfer windows to stamp his mark on the current squad and Tottenham have made decent progress on that front so far.
Indeed, James Maddison, Guglielmo Vicario and Micky van de Ven all arrived last summer and have hit the ground running at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
But after inheriting a squad built in the image of three previous managers, Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte and Nuno Espirito Santo, Postecoglou will have some difficult choices to make over the coming transfer windows.
And according to The Evening Standard, Spurs could yet consider a big offer for the most expensive signing of the Conte era, Richarlison.

Tottenham could sell Richarlison
The Standard reports that while Richarlison is enjoying a promising season, doubts remain over his ability to lead the line for Spurs.
It’s claimed that should Tottenham receive a ‘big offer’ this summer, they could look to cash in and upgrade on the 26-year-old.
Is Richarlison good enough to start for Tottenham?
The Brazil international has proven he can score goals in a Postecoglou side this season.
Richarlison has bagged 11 times in 26 games in all competitions since the Aussie’s arrival last summer. But with Tottenham looking to upgrade their options in attack, his future isn’t exactly set in stone at Spurs.

The former Everton man arrived for a sizeable fee worth around £60 million in the summer of 2022 and it’s fair to say he struggled in his first year at the club.
We’ve seen the best of the forward in recent weeks after he returned to action following surgery on his groin. Yet, with interest from the Saudi Pro League, he may be subject to a sizeable offer this summer.
In our view, Richarlison is certainly good enough to be part of Postecoglou’s squad and offers a versatile option across the frontline.
But with Heung-min Son excelling while playing as the No9, selling Richarlison could be necessary to raise funds for that much-needed quality option out wide.
