Tottenham Hotspur are now considering their move this summer for what would be one of the biggest deals of the window.
The window is now open for business and Tottenham already have one addition in the bag following Timo Werner‘s loan signing for the 2024/25 season.
A busy few weeks is lined up at Hotspur Way with players also heading out the door as Daniel Levy helps Ange Postecoglou to trim down his bloated squad.
Spurs will be playing considerably more games next season having secured themselves a spot in the Europa League which is taking on a new format this season.
With a need for stronger squad depth, Spurs are now considering their move for a player who would cost them in the region of £60m this summer.

Tottenham now eyeing move for £60m summer target
Spurs have just seen their record signing in Tanguy Ndombele leave the club having had his contract terminated.
Change is certainly happening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer and it has been needed for a good few years now.
There has been a build up of players who have needed to be moved on and Postecoglou is finally overseeing their exits.
But Tottenham will also be wanting to replace those players with some quality additions and a move for one specifically is seemingly now under consideration.
According to Paul O Keefe, Spurs are now considering their move for Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze.
The club insider has claimed the 25-year-old is one of Tottenham’s top targets this summer having impressed massively during his time at Selhurst Park.
Eze is said to have a £60m release clause in his contract with the Eagles which also includes potential add-ons worth up to a further £8m.
Tottenham may face Eberechi Eze stumbling block
Spurs have asserted themselves as one of the league’s most shrewd clubs when it comes to handling transfers deals.
However, they may well find it difficult in dealing with Palace who will only be willing to part ways with Eze on their terms.
The England international showed his quality over the 2023/24 campaign and came into his own under Oliver Glasner.
And it seems as if they are going to want to see a large chunk of any fee for Eze arrive as an upfront payment.
Thanks to Tottenham’s high levels of revenue and recent decisions in the transfer market, Spurs are not one of the clubs who are at risk of FFP issues.
So the Lilywhites may well be able to finance a deal for Eze, but it is certainly going to cost them if they want to bring Eze to N17.
