Tottenham Hotspur reportedly view Brighton’s Evan Ferguson as a possible long-term replacement for Harry Kane.
That’s according to talkSPORT, with the outlet claiming that Ferguson is attracting interest from a host of top Premier League sides.
Spurs opted against replacing Harry Kane over the summer after their former talisman joined Bayern Munich on the eve of the season.

But Spurs will undoubtedly have one eye on the future as they look to bring in a like-for-like replacement for Kane. And if talkSPORT are to be believed, Ferguson may be the striker they are lining up to replace the England captain.

The outlet claims that Tottenham view Ferguson as a potential long-term replacement for Kane.
It’s noted that the 19-year-old striker is also receiving interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.
Tottenham have already been linked with a move for Ferguson, with Brighton reportedly valuing the youngster at around £100 million.
Ange Postecoglou is said to be a huge admirer of the Irish striker and is expected to bring in competition for Son at some point.
Ferguson has netted five goals in 11 Premier League games this season and has emerged as a star for the future under Roberto De Zerbi.

The Spurs News View
While Ferguson looks set to enjoy a bright future in the game, it would be a surprise to see Tottenham break the bank to sign him.
Spurs aren’t exactly renowned for pushing the boat out and Ferguson is yet to prove he can produce consistently at the top level.
With that being said, the Seagulls youngster seems to have all the required attributes to thrive at the top level and it’s easy to see why Spurs view him as a possible replacement for Kane.
