Tottenham Hotspur are believed to potentially be eyeing yet another Genoa raid having only recently signed Radu Dragusin from the Italian outfit.

The Lilywhites have been busy in the two transfer windows under Ange Postecoglou and it doesn’t seem like there is any sign of that slowing down ahead of the summer.

Despite bringing in Timo Werner last month, more attackers are reportedly being eyed with Albert Gudmundsson believed to be on the radar.

Gudmundsson being eyed by Tottenham

According to a report from Italian outlet Calciomercato, we are one of the clubs who have been showing an interest in the Icelandic forward.

Spurs are not the only Premier League side to have been linked with the 26-year-old, however, Newcastle United are also said to be monitoring his situation.

Any potential move for Gudmundsson will cost in the region of 30m (£26m) in the summer with Genoa believed to have set their stall out already.

A move for forward was proposed in the winter market, but it is claimed the Serie A side rejected a bid from an unnamed side which landed at their door for €22m (£18.7m).

Postecoglou racking up attacking options

The Australian manager now has plenty of options to pick from up top with the luxury of Heung-min Son being able to gradually return to the side following his Asian Cup journey.

The South Korean did not start on the weekend with Timo Werner playing out wide, and substitute Brennan Johnson was able to come on and win the game.

But there still remains the question about what lies ahead for Bryan Gil in the coming months.

And someone like Gudmundsson could provide an alternative option in the Spurs attack. He has typically played through the middle for Genoa this season, but he has provided an impressive return.

The 26-year-old has returned nine goals and two assists and has even shown his versatility through playing up top and on the left.

Perhaps he could even be seen as a replacement for Werner if we do not take the option up to purchase him permanently in the summer.
