Tottenham Hotspur are considering another swoop for the Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer in the summer.

Spurs have already bolstered their defence considerably since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou last summer.

The likes of Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin have been addeded, but it seems they may not be done just there.

Tottenham interested in Gleison Bremer

According to i news, Tottenham are one of the Premier League clubs who are showing an interest in the Brazilian.

It is believed Manchester United are keen to bring in the 26-year-old this summer as they look to bolster Erik ten Hag’s squad since the takeover.

But there will be some serious competition for his signature with Real Madrid and Chelsea also credited with an interest in the defender.

The report claims Bremer has a €50m (£43m) release clause in his Juventus contract.

Fabio Paratici’s Bremer interest

This is not the first time Tottenham have shown an interest in the Brazilian. They did so initially back in 2022 before he made the move to the Allianz Stadium.

It was claimed Fabio Paratici was stepping up Tottenham’s pursuit of the defender when he was playing for Torino.

However, he made the decision to move to their city rivals and Spurs made the move for Cristian Romero.

It is a move which Spurs will definitely look back on without any regrets given how important the Argentine has become at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But in recent months, it has felt like Spurs would be willing to go for multiple targets in one window, rather than just settling for one.

Although Spurs have an exciting prospect in Ashley Phillips out on loan in the Championship, it seems Postecoglou wants proven quality at the back.

Champions League football is what Spurs want to be playing next season, and quality squad depth is exactly what they’ll need if they qualify.
