Tottenham Hotspur target Pedro Neto is now expected to be sold in the summer by his current team Wolves.

Under Ange Postecoglou, the likes of Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner have been brought to Hotspur Way to add depth to our attack.

However, there could be another big addition made over the summer transfer window as Neto is believed to be on the radar.

Neto set for Wolves summer sale

According to The Sun, Wolves are set to fund their summer transfer window through the sale of some of their prized assets.

One of those includes the Portuguese winger, Neto. And it is believed he is on the radar of the Lilywhites.

The report suggests Wolves are currently only just breaking even on their books, so summer sales will be necessary if they are to bring in any players over the summer.

But we will face fierce competition for Neto with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool also credited with an interest.

Neto could be Heung-min Son’s successor

We will not want to bear the thought of life without Heung-min Son at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but at the age of 31, it is becoming a reality.

Thankfully, our captain is still playing at the top of his game and remains one of the Premier League’s top scorers despite spending time away at the Asian Cup.

But the club will have to begin planning for life after the South Korean decides to leave or hangs his boots up over the coming years.

And Neto could potentially be that man to replace Son.

The 23-year-old has been able to return 10 goal contributions in the Premier League alone this term along with three more in the FA Cup.

He has even been labeled as a ‘superstar’ by Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher following their game against Newcastle United last season.

Although Son may not be ready to leave Spurs just yet, Neto could even come in and provide real competition on the right with the likes of Dejan Kulusevski and Johnson not exactly lighting it up this season on that side of the pitch.

We will get a good opportunity to watch Neto on the weekend with Wolves as he will travel to N17 and potentially see where he could play in the future.
