Tottenham Hotspur has been greenlit by one of their summer targets as a potential landing spot as the transfer window looms.

Daniel Levy may well find himself signing off on a number of deals over the next few months as Tottenham prepare for a season in Europe.

James Maddison has made it very clear that he wants to see Champions League football return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.

However, his manager Ange Postecoglou has remained a lot more distant on talk of a top four finish claiming he just wants to see development.

For Spurs fans, it will be reassuring that a fifth-placed finish could be enough to earn a spot in next season’s elite European competition.

Regardless, Spurs look set to be playing some form of European football next season and that will bring an increased need to rotate the squad.

Ahead of the summer, it appears one of Tottenham’s targets has now approved a potential move to north London.

Tottenham told 26-year-old player would be keen to join this summer

This summer could be a matter of fine tuning for Postecoglou having already made a number of signings over his two transfer windows at the club.

Along with some sensational additions of Brennan Johnson and Micky van de Ven, Spurs also have to consider what they will do with Timo Werner.

The German winger has been impressing in recent weeks and Spurs have until 14 June to decide whether they want to sign him permanently for £15m.

But it is apparent Postecoglou is looking to add to his centre-backs despite signing Radu Dragusin in the January window.

The Australian has already admitted this in a recent press conference and he may have just received a boost ahead of the window.

According to Alasdair Gold, Tosin Adarabioyo is a significant target at centre-back for Spurs this summer as he looks set to become a free agent.

Spurs made a move for the centre-back last summer and are now expected to up their efforts ahead of the summer.

Fulham’s efforts to tie Tosin down to a new deal are so far falling short with the defender now heading towards the exit.

However, he is a player who manager Marco Silva holds in very high regard having called him a “special player” earlier in the season.
