Tottenham Hotspur are now at risk of losing one of their homegrown players this summer as he has opened up to the idea of leaving the club.

The summer transfer window may not be open just yet, however, Tottenham have already completed their first piece of business with the loan signing of Timo Werner for the season.

Exits are going to be important for Ange Postecoglou over the coming months, though, with the Australian already admitting that Tottenham will be offloading several players.

Postecoglou has now had 12 months to assess his squad with a number of players already being offloaded inside his first season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

From his arrival, it was made very apparent that the likes of Eric Dier and Hugo Lloris were not part of his plans and were swiftly moved on to new clubs.

And there will be more to follow this summer, but it seems there is one player who is now actively considering his future at Hotspur Way following his first season under Postecoglou.

Tottenham midfielder now eyeing move away this summer

A big overhaul is expected at Tottenham this summer with Spurs said to have a 15-man list of players who they’d be willing to sell.

The likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg look likely to move on this summer having really struggled to make an impression on the Australian manager.

And then there is the possibility that Tottenham would consider selling Yves Bissouma if the right offer was to land at their door for the Mali midfielder.

But it now seems as if Oliver Skipp is considering his future elsewhere after also failing to make much of an impression on Postecoglou’s starting XI.

According to Alasdair Gold, Skipp is keen to secure himself regular first team football for next season even if that means leaving Tottenham.

The 23-year-old impressed during his loan spell with Norwich City but has struggled to become the starting man in the midfield at Spurs since.

And his opportunities at Spurs have been few and far between this season since Postecoglou’s arrival last year.

Oliver Skipp could make way for Conor Gallagher

Skipp has been hailed in the past by Postecoglou who labelled. him “outstanding” just weeks into their relationship in north London.

However, Skipp has since struggled to nail down any regular game time with just five starts in the Premier League to his name this season.

This comes at a time when Spurs are searching the market for a new midfield upgrade and Conor Gallagher is a player who is on Tottenham’s radar.

The Chelsea midfielder has captained the Blues for the majority of the campaign and is part of the provisional England squad for the summer.

Replacing Skipp with Gallagher would be a major statement for Spurs with a considerable leap in the quality of the depth in midfield if that was a deal to be done.
