Tottenham Hotspur forward Alejo Veliz has shared interest coming from Real Madrid in a recent interview with the Spanish media.
The young Argentine is currently playing his football out on loan with La Liga side Sevilla and they face the league leaders on Sunday.
Having been sent out on loan by Ange Postecoglou, it seems Tottenham may have beaten another global powerhouse to the signature of a young prospect.

Real Madrid eyed Alejo Veliz
It was a move which may have taken some by shock at Hotspur Way as Spurs spent £12m on the young forward from Rosario Central.
But his early spell in north London is not one which has really taken off with Postecoglou only using him as a late substitute.
The 20-year-old was only able to rack up 42 minutes in the Premier League before being sent out on loan to Sevilla.
And in a recent interview with AS, Veliz revealed Real Madrid had even shown interest in him: “Yes, it appeared in the press and some time ago my agent told me about interest from Real Madrid, but nothing materialised.
“It was during the South American U20 Championship, I hadn’t been in the first team for long and I wanted to continue playing at Rosario. After the U20 World Cup, too. But I’m a calm guy, I take things patiently and I believe a lot in God, he focuses me on my path and he’s going to give me the best.”

Veliz’s future at Tottenham
This may take a few by surprise after hearing Real Madrid had even showed an interest in the Argentine given his struggles to establish himself at Spurs.
But this loan move to Sevilla may give those back at Tottenham more something to go off when judging Veliz’s future in north London.
Although he has played less than a single half of football in his combined league appearances, Veliz has still been able to find the back of the net.
The Spurs News have been told that Richarlison could be made available for sale this summer if the club are able to turn a profit on the Brazilian.
Although this may suggest an opportunity may arise, if Postecoglou would be willing to sell the player who has netted ten times in the league for him this season, what does that mean for Veliz who couldn’t earn a start.
