Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be lining up a summer move for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher as his contract situation rumbles on.
The player and club are yet to find an agreement on a new deal to see him extend his stay at Stamford Bridge beyond 2025.
However, after fresh reports linking him with a move to Hotspur Way, Mauricio Pochettino has shared what the midfielder has said about his future.

Tottenham plotting Gallagher swoop
According to reports, we are eyeing a summer swoop for the England midfielder in the summer if he is not able to find a resolution on his future.
There has been a recent valuation of £50m believed to have been placed on the 24-year-old by the Blues prior to the January window.
However, his manager and the former Spurs boss, Pochettino, has now provided an insight as to where the player’s head is at as speculation grows over his future: “Gallagher told me he wants to stay at Chelsea. Other than that, it’s for him and the club to discuss,” said the Argentine.
“We like him. I’m so happy for him and so happy for the team because it’s a victory we needed. Then about his contract, it’s up to Conor and the club.”

Huge coup from rivals
Taking Gallagher away from Chelsea would feel like a huge move from the Lilywhites given the important role he has been provided at Stamford Bridge.
Recently, the midfielder has been handed the captain’s armband in west London as his continues to impress on the pitch.
Gallagher impressed massively on Monday night against one of his former loan clubs, Crystal Palace, where he scored the first two of Chelsea’s three goals at Selhurst Park.
Following the game, Pochettino was quick to sing the praise of his midfielder as he called the 24-year-old ‘priceless‘.
Performances aside, taking one of their best players – who has often worn the armband – would a huge blow to one of our biggest rivals.
However, as a lifelong Chelsea fan, it would be interesting to see whether he would even consider a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
