Tottenham Hotspur have now reactivated talks to sign Manchester City winger Savinho this summer after missing out on him a year ago.
The North London club have managed to avoid relegation and are now looking to ensure that doesn’t happen again by going big in the summer window.

Tottenham will want to back Roberto De Zerbi properly, after the Italian somehow guided them to safety with just six games to do so.
Now, Spurs look set to return for the Brazilian winger as one of the first signings of the De Zerbi era at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Savinho is keen to join Tottenham this summer
Savinho remains quite keen to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer, even without European football on offer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Meanwhile, De Zerbi and his staff are also open to signing the 22-year-old and initial talks have already begun with Manchester City.
Romano told his YouTube channel: “Keep an eye on Tottenham and Savinho. Last summer, Tottenham wanted to go all in for Savinho and sent two official bids to Manchester City, but Man City decided not to proceed.
“This season for Savinho at Man City has not been easy. He wants to play on a regular basis, and now Tottenham are prepared to go for it.
“Roberto De Zerbi and people at Tottenham want Savio. So now they are prepared to reopen negotiations with Manchester City.”

Newcastle United are also following the winger; however, Spurs appear to be at the front of the queue in the race to sign him.
“Savinho is also appreciated, from what I understand, by Newcastle. So it’s another club appreciating the player, but now Tottenham is prepared to open talks again with Manchester City,” added the journalist.
“My understanding is that Savinho was open to joining Tottenham in the summer of 2025, but at the time, City decided to trust him, and Savinho was more than happy to sign a new contract.
“Let me say, if this summer Tottenham and City reach an agreement, Savinho will be a Spurs player because the player is quite open to the move even without European football at Tottenham.”
Savinho is a very talented player, but needs regular minutes to develop, and at Spurs, De Zerbi should be able to make him flourish.
