Tottenham are braced for a rocky period in the January transfer window.
Thomas Frank is struggling to get the best out of his players and is also forced to navigate the complexities of the transfer window.
😠 Fill in the blank: I blame ________________ for Tottenham’s shocking form!
Thomas Frank, injuries, the board or a combination of issues?
With Spurs currently in 14th place in the Premier League, Frank has his own job that could soon be on the line as well.
Fabrizio Romano issues update on Radu Dragusin leaving Tottenham
According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma and Spurs have a good relationship and that has led to Radu Dragusin potentially leaving for the Italian club.
The Romania international has already reached an agreement with the Serie A giants over a January move.
The 23-year-old has also informed Tottenham that he wants a return to Italy and play regularly after being out for a long time due to injury.
Fill in the blank: Keith Andrews is a __________ coach than Thomas Frank…
Romano said: “Roma have had concrete contacts with Tottenham, and the relationship between the clubs is very good. The player has already said yes to Roma – Dragusin is ready to move to Roma.
“As I said back in December, keep an eye on Roma and Fiorentina, obviously with different ideas. Roma still had to choose their preferred defender, while Fiorentina were ready to build an important proposal around Dragusin, making him one of the faces of the team to rebuild the second half of the season.
“But Roma have stepped in – and they’ve done so strongly. There have been direct contacts with Tottenham, and an agreement has already been reached with the player. Dragusin has informed Tottenham that he would welcome a move to Roma, seeing it as an opportunity to return to Italy after a long spell out due to injury.
“The talks are ongoing, and we’ll see whether Roma can reach an agreement with Tottenham on the formula of the deal. But Dragusin is a live option, and Roma are very active on multiple fronts.”

What is Spurs’ plan for Dragusin?
Dragusin joined Spurs in 2024, but injuries have derailed his progress and have prevented him from getting a legitimate shot at proving himself as a viable first-team candidate.
He is contracted to the club until June 2030, so a loan move would make a lot of sense as he would not only regain match sharpness post his injury, but also play regularly and improve.
The Italian game would suit Dragusin and an impressive second half of the season could even see him in contention for a first-team role at Spurs next term.
Like with most players, Tottenham plan on being patient with the centre-back and hope that he could become a regular in the coming years.
It is highly unlikely that the club opt to sell him permanently in the January transfer window.
