Ivan Perisic could yet secure a move away from Tottenham Hotspur this week, with one of his former clubs ‘dreaming’ of signing him.
Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on Ivan Perisic’s future and believes the winger has already played his last game for Tottenham.
Perisic enjoyed a fairly promising start to life under Ange Postecoglou after impressing in pre-season. The 34-year-old had provided two assists in six appearances, with five of those games coming from the bench.

While he didn’t seem like a natural fit for Postecoglou’s system, his impact as a substitute was proving important to Spurs’ early-season success.
But the Croatian veteran picked up an ACL injury in training back in September and is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Despite the injury, Hajduk Split remain keen on a reunion with Perisic and will push to sign the winger this month.
Perisic could leave Tottenham soon
Speaking on Kick, Romano shared the latest on Perisic’s future and admitted that he feels the winger has already played his last game for Spurs.
“My answer is no, I don’t think Ivan Perisic is going to play for Tottenham anymore in his career,” the transfer insider said.
“Because of the injury, of course, but also because Hajduk Split are still dreaming of Ivan Perisic as January signing. So, they are going to push this week, next week, to make the deal happen.
“Hajduk want Ivan Perisic, so there is still a chance for Perisic to leave Tottenham in the January transfer window. But, in any case, it’s 99 per cent guaranteed that Ivan Perisic is not going to play for Tottenham anymore.”

Perisic was initially snapped up by Antonio Conte and was brought in as a specialist wing-back.
Many expected the ‘amazing’ winger to head out the door over the summer but he emerged as a surprise option for Postecoglou.
Nevertheless, with his recent injury set to keep him out for a large chunk of the campaign, it would make sense for Tottenham to move him on.
The Croatia international will be able to leave on a free transfer over the summer. It would be beneficial for Spurs to offload his wages for the remainder of the campaign, especially when you consider the fact he’s the club’s second-highest-paid player behind skipper Heung-Min Son.
A return to the club where he started his long career would also be a good move for Perisic.
