And now, reports claim Ange Postecoglou’s side are showing a keen interest in the hot prospect, Roony Bardghji, ahead of the summer transfer window.

Tottenham eyeing in-demand Roony Bardghji

According to the Express, Spurs are now ‘firmly in the race’ to compete for the signature of the Swedish winger in the upcoming transfer market.

A number of other Premier League clubs are also said to be eyeing the 18-year-old prospect with the likes of Aston Villa, Brighton and Chelsea all credited with an interest.

And a previous report from the reliable Fabrizio Romano has even claimed Barcelona are one of the foreign sides who have sent scouts to track the youngster.

The Swede has certainly enjoyed a promising 2023/24 campaign for FC Copenhagen having returned 11 goals across all competitions.

His agent, Christian Emile, has already put huge expectations on the 18-year-old’s shoulders by saying: “He’s one of the most exciting talents in the world and also the future of Swedish football since Zlatan Ibrahimovic”.

Agent Kulusevski

Spurs have already enlisted the help of Dejan Kulusevski this year in speaking to Bergvall during the player’s talks with the club over the proposed move last month.

And it will be intriguing to see if Spurs look to replicate their success again in the summer by potentially getting Kulusevski to speak to his fellow countryman about joining the Swedish contingent in N17.

With a reported valuation of around £17m, it certainly feels like a move which Spurs could make happen in the summer.

With several clubs said to be keen on the Swede, perhaps some persuasion from the national team’s player of the year could go a long way.
