Tottenham may already have the ideal candidate to replace Mikey Moore at Rangers next season in Luca Williams-Barnett.
Moore is enjoying a successful loan spell at Rangers and is quickly becoming a favourite amongst the supporters at Ibrox.
🤔 Next summer, should Tottenham Hotspur KEEP or LOAN Mikey Moore?
The Scottish Premiership club will be eager to keep hold of the Spurs loanee next season; however, the North London club may well decide he is ready for first-team action.
Therefore, Rangers will likely need another attacker, and Spurs could offer them another of their academy stars on loan next term.
Luca Williams-Barnett could replace Mikey Moore at Rangers
Luca Williams-Barnett could be the next Tottenham Hotspur player to head on loan to Rangers to replace Mikey Moore.
The 17-year-old is one of the jewels of Spurs’ academy and looks ready for the rigours of senior football when he turns 18.
Williams-Barnett has been in fine form for the youth teams in North London this season, netting 16 goals and providing seven assists in 20 matches.
He plays in a very similar role to Moore, as he can operate on the left, but is also very good in central positions, just like the Rangers loanee.
Fill in the blank: Luca Williams-Barnett is _________ for Premier League action at Tottenham…
Earlier this season, Williams-Barnett became the 900th player to debut for the North London club, appearing against Doncaster Rovers in the EFL Cup.
However, that was the last Spurs fans saw of him in the first team, but hopefully, under Igo Tudor, the teenager will get more minutes.
Rangers fans are eager to keep Moore in Glasgow, but if they have enjoyed watching him, they will enjoy Williams-Barnett just as much.
Rangers fans hail Mikey Moore’s performance vs Hearts
Moore really impressed in Rangers’ 4-2 win over Hearts, as they moved within just two points of the Scottish league leaders.
Rangers fans were thoroughly impressed with his latest display and are desperate to keep hold of him for another season.
One fan said: “Mikey Moore is just a wee sprinkling of absolute class in that Rangers side. Streets ahead of everyone around him.”
“I’m not sure it would be likely at all, but I would love to get Mikey Moore back on loan next season. Ideal world stuff,” claimed another.
There was yet more praise for the Spurs teenager: “Mikey Moore, thank you! You’re a talent Rangers can’t keep, but you are a credit to football at times.”
Finally, another added: “Mikey Moore is easily the best player in the SPL. Hope Tottenham will agree on another loan for him.”
