Tottenham could look to part ways with Thomas Frank at the end of the season if results do not improve.
Currently, Spurs find themselves in 14th place and are expected to end another season without winning a trophy.
Qualifying for Europe also looks nigh on impossible unless they have a remarkable turnaround in fortunes in the second half of the season.
Change our mind: Tottenham must pay whatever it takes to SACK Thomas Frank…
Tottenham handed boost to hire Oliver Glasner
Oliver Glasner was linked with the Tottenham job in the summer, before the decision makers decided to go for Frank.
In fact, the Austrian manager has been on Spurs’ radar since 2023, when they decided to part ways with Antonio Conte.
According to Sport BILD, the Lilywhites made contact with Glasner, who was then plying his trade at Eintracht Frankfurt.

His contract was expiring at the end of the season, and the decision makers at the North London outfit were contemplating bringing him to the club.
However, they decided against it, which led to him eventually moving to Palace and achieving success there.
Now, if Tottenham want to appoint him, they could get him in the summer without any hassle, as he has announced that he will not be signing a contract extension at Selhurst Park.
He said: “A decision has already been taken, months ago. I had a meeting with Steve [Parish] in October, the international break. We had a very long talk, and I told him I will not sign a new contract.
“We agreed at the time it was the best to keep it between us. It’s the best that we could do that and keep it confidential for three months. But now it’s important to have clarity, and we had a very busy schedule so that’s why we didn’t want to talk about it. Steve and I want the best for Crystal Palace.”
Glasner has announced he’s leaving Crystal Palace…
He will be a perfect replacement for Thomas Frank 💪
What will Oliver Glasner bring to Tottenham?
Glasner has a track record of joining teams in distress and taking them to the next level.
When he became the Wolfsburg manager, they were battling relegation, and in his first full season, he guided them to Champions League qualification.
He then helped Frankfurt win their first major European trophy in 40 years when they clinched the 2021/22 Europa League.
Glasner also took a mid-table Palace side to FA Cup glory and delivered the best unbeaten run in the club’s 120-year history.
Should he join Spurs, he would get them to play high-intensity football, either in a back three or a back four.
The North London club would play a more vertical and direct style of football, and it would surely get the fans off their seats.
Under Frank, the football has been dull and tepid, and that is not likely to be the case if the Austrian takes over.
