Former Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has not had to wait long before making his return to management, and his next landing spot will see a quick return to the Premier League.
Postecoglou has taken over the reins at Nottingham Forest following the decision made to sack fellow former Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo after just three games of the 2025/26 campaign.
There is an element of positivity within Spurs fans regarding their future under new manager Thomas Frank, however many believed the decision was harsh to remove the Australian following their triumph in the Europa League.
He will soon have his chance to prove the decision makers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium wrong, and will have his eyes on December 13 when he is set to welcome his former side to the City Ground.
After two seasons in North London, he will have built up an understanding of the majority of the Spurs squad, and could look to them when the transfer window roles around to try and bolster his news squad.
The Spurs News have predicted three players who Postecoglou could look to sign in January, or the upcoming summer transfer window.

Three Tottenham players Ange Postecoglou could sign for Nottingham Forest
Brennan Johnson
One of the most obvious choices would be Brennan Johnson, following his stint at Forest before making the move to Spurs.
The winger scored arguably the most important goal of the Postecoglou era to secure Europa League glory against Manchester United.
The Welshman has made a very strong start to the new campaign, scoring twice in the first three games of the season.
While they will not be looking to part ways with their big-money signing from two summers ago, Postecoglou could be looking to bring in a new winger, especially following the departure before the season of Anthony Elanga.

Lucas Bergvall
Lucas Bergvall has come to Spurs with a lot of promise, however has not been able to find the regular appearances he would have been hoping for.
The Swede has made just one start so far this season, and will be hoping the influx of fixtures that come when the Champions League returns will see him get more regular chances.
The signing would likely not be cheap for Forest, however could be necessary if they see their own midfield options start to be departed.
Spurs came close to signing Morgan Gibbs-White over the summer, and he will likely be the target of plenty of big sides in the coming months again.
Dejan Kulusevski
The most left-field shout we have is Dejan Kulusevski, who is not set to feature again for Spurs until around December time.
However, in his absence, they have strengthened the attack greatly, with the additions of Xavi Simons and Mohammed Kudus to play in a variety of positions.
The Swede therefore faces a tough task to break back into starting side when he returns from injury, especially with James Maddison looking to break back into the side if he can feature at all this season.
Kulusevski was arguably the best-performing consistent player during the Austrailian’s time in charge of Spurs, and he would no doubt love a reunion at his new side.
