Tottenham could soon be in the market for another manager as Thomas Frank is facing an uncertain future.

Pressure has ramped up on the Dane after Spurs drew 2-2 against Burnley over the weekend.

This sees them remain in 14th place after 23 games with 28 points on board.

Tottenham may look at Enzo Maresca if there is a change of manager before the end of the season.

Enzo Maresca could be in the running to be the next Spurs manager…

If he cannot join, who would your dream option be and why?

However, another Italian could be the perfect man to take the club forward.

Thiago Motta could be perfect for Tottenham

According to the Daily Express, expectations at Spurs are lower than those at Juventus, which could see Thiago Motta considering the job.

He has been out of work since March 2025 and is eyeing a return to first-team management.

His style of play would thrill the fans, especially given the turgid football they have witnessed under Frank all season.

What are YOUR thoughts on Thiago Motta joining Spurs?

He would surely do better than Ange Postecoglou…😍

Motta has a fixed system and would get the Tottenham players to adapt to it.

The Italian wants his teams to dominate possession and press higher up the pitch – akin to Mauricio Pochettino.

He deploys a 2-7-2 system, including the goalkeeper, that emphasises positional play and building out from the back.

Motta likes having compact squads, but also players who are versatile, and he would definitely like the options Spurs have in attack.

Will Motta join Spurs?

While he would not be joining a side challenging for the title right away, moving to Tottenham could be an exciting opportunity for Motta.

He is known to work well with youngsters and, given Spurs’ youth recruitment over the years, it would be exciting to see him build a squad with his philosophy.

The board have looked for a project manager ever since Pochettino was sacked, and have struggled to get it right with any of their managers.

They briefly enjoyed success under Ange Postecoglou, but things turned sour pretty soon and he was shown the door as well.

Motta, much like Postecoglou, is on the rise, but has the experience of managing a club with larger expectations, so he would much rather be someone who can help Spurs go to the next level.
