Conor Gallagher looks set to sign for Tottenham in a very exciting deal for the football club.
Thomas Frank has drawn criticism in recent weeks and it’s fair to say that his squad needs bolstering if the club are to improve on their lowly 14th place in the Premier League table.
Gallagher will arrive at the club on the back of a very successful period with Atletico Madrid and it’s perhaps a surprise that Diego Simeone is willing to let him leave this month.
Los Rojiblancos’ loss is Tottenham’s gain, however, and for one player, he might now have played his final game for Spurs once this signing gets over the line.

Yves Bissouma is now on borrowed time at Tottenham
Bissouma has been treated unfairly by Frank, according to some Tottenham sources, and now he’s not going to have any reason to call upon the midfielder again.
Frank grew frustrated earlier in the season with Bissouma after he kept turning up for training and team meetings late, with the player failing to kick a ball all season for Tottenham.
The 29-year-old signed for Spurs in a deal worth £30 million and has played exactly 100 times for the football club, but time does now look to be up.
With Bissouma yet to play this season, it looks nigh on impossible that Frank will be turning to him any time soon, with Gallagher set to join.
Gallagher can transform Tottenham’s season
Gallagher, perhaps, isn’t the stellar creative spark that Tottenham fans have craved, but he’s a very competent performer who has experience playing for a top-half Premier League team.
Furthermore, he will be desperate to do well with Tottenham, considering that he’s still got to try and confirm his place in Thomas Tuchel’s squad for the World Cup this summer.
Fill in the blank: Conor Gallagher is a ______________ signing for Tottenham…
Is he actually what Spurs need right now?
Gallagher has the heart and desire that Tottenham have perhaps been lacking this season and the hope will be that he can hit the ground running for the team.
Frank will be completely aware that the results haven’t been good enough and with big games with West Ham and Burnley on the horizon, the head coach could dearly do with the midfielder transforming the team straight away.
