Ange Postecoglou has endured a difficult month at Tottenham Hotspur due to an ongoing injury crisis.
Tottenham were flying high at the top of the Premier League table heading into a clash against Chelsea last month.
Spurs took an early lead through Dejan Kulusevski on the night but lost several key players through injuries and suspensions.
Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were both sent off, while Micky van de Ven and James Maddison suffered long-term injuries.
Things have only got worse for Postecoglou since. Indeed, Richarlison also underwent surgery on his groin last month and Rodrigo Bentancur suffered an ankle injury in his first start since returning from an ACL rupture against Villa.
Spurs have lost three games on the bounce over the past month and face a difficult trip to Manchester City tomorrow. But Ange Postecoglou may have been handed a significant boost when it comes to Richarlison’s fitness.

Postecoglou handed fresh injury boost ahead of City vs Tottenham clash
Richarlison was spotted back on the grass at Hotspur Way on Friday as he steps up his recovery.
Tottenham posted a picture of the Brazilian in training on their official Twitter account.
Postecoglou also spoke about the 26-year-old yesterday and claimed he’s the ‘closest’ player to a return.
“Richy is probably the closest out of the ones who have been missing so we are looking to get him hopefully involved in training tomorrow. We will see how he is, because he has missed a fair bit but he feels good which is important. He is the next cab off the rank in terms of the injury box,” Ange told Football.London.

Richarlison struggled during the early stages of the season but he had put in a couple of decent displays before the injury.
The Brazil star put in two promising performances off the left-hand side before losing place in the side to Brennan Johnson.
It’s no secret that Spurs are short of options across the frontline at the moment, with Ivan Perisic and Manor Solomon sidelined.
Having Richarlison back soon would be a huge boost for Postecoglou as the former Everton man can provide cover across the front three.
It remains to be seen whether the City game will come too soon for the forward after he returned to training on Friday. But it would appear a return isn’t too far off.
