Ange Postecoglou hasn’t exactly had the rub of the green when it comes to injuries since taking over as Tottenham Hotspur boss.
The Aussie has lost several key players already this season, with James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur and Micky van de Ven all sidelined until the new year.
Despite the ongoing injury and suspension crisis, Ange Postecoglou has managed to deliver back-to-back wins in the Premier League over the past week.
Postecoglou has welcomed back the likes of Pape Matar Sarr, Destiny Udogie and Yves Bissouma in recent weeks, which helped Tottenham beat Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.
Both Bissouma and Udogie had picked up too many bookings, while Sarr was ruled out after picking up an injury during the international break last month.
Bissouma was sent off in the 2-0 win at Forest on Friday and will now miss the next four games before heading off to AFCON 2024 next month.
And after losing another key player in the middle of the park, it seems that Giovani Lo Celso could miss out on Saturday’s game against Everton.

Postecoglou handed fresh injury blow at Tottenham
The Evening Standard reports that Lo Celso is a doubt for Saturday’s home game against Everton.
It’s noted that the Argentine has picked up a muscle strain after also missing Friday’s trip to Forest.
Lo Celso dropped to the bench against Newcastle United but was enjoying a decent run of form beforehand.
The 27-year-old had netted twice in three starts, with his goals coming against Aston Villa and Manchester City.

While he isn’t a natural replacement for Bissouma in the deeper-lying midfield role, his absence would leave Postecoglou short of options in the middle of the park.
It could mean the Aussie boss turns to either Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg or Oliver Skipp, with the latter impressing against Forest.
Spurs will certainly be hoping for positive news on Lo Celso over the coming days as they prepare for an extended spell without Bissouma.
