Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma may have shown his true feelings on Tuesday’s game with the outfit he wore to the match.
Ange Postecoglou cast a frustrated figure once again in the wake of the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last night.
His Tottenham side tasted defeat against Manchester City and it was a result which pleased a number of the fans in the home end.
But the loss to the champions-elect has now seen any small hope of qualifying for the Champions League come to an end with Aston Villa securing fourth spot.
It has been a solid effort from Spurs this season but they have just fallen short of their ambitious Champions League aspirations.
Injuries have plagued Postecoglou’s side this season and one player who picked up an issue in the game against Burnley was Yves Bissouma.
The midfielder has endured a torrid end to the season but some Spurs fans will laugh at his outfit selection for last night’s game against City.

Considering the narrative that went into the game about Tottenham’s ulterior motive going into the game not wanting to help their rivals, they have it a real good go.
Spurs took the game to Pep Guardiola’s side and were undone by two lapses of concentration in the end.
But this did not stop Postecoglou venting his frustration after the game as he took aim at the atmosphere the home fans created.
With Postecoglou’s fury in mind, what the injured Bissouma chose to wear to the game may not have gone down too well with his manager either.
The Mali midfielder missed out on the game after sustaining a knee injury in the weekend’s victory over Burnley.
But he was still in attendance on Tuesday night as he wore a light blue tracksuit to the game against Manchester City.
Now, it could well have been a complete coincidence, however, some fans may see the funny side of wearing a full light blue tracksuit against City.
Yves Bissouma’s injury may mean he never plays for Tottenham again
It has been another season to forget for Bissouma since making the move to Hotspur Way back in 2022.
The midfielder made a stunning start to the season under Postecoglou but now finds himself named as the club’s biggest underperformer.
Tottenham are now set to go into the summer transfer window actively looking to improve their midfield and his spot is surely at risk.
As a result of his poor displays this season under the Australian, reports are now claiming Tottenham would be open to offers for the 27-year-old.
Having failed to impress in either of his two seasons at Spurs, it is difficult to form an argument against offloading him if the right offer is to land.
