A UEFA financial report has shown Tottenham Hotspur created more revenue from kit sales in 2023 than Manchester City.

Revenue generated from kit deals was based on the sponsorship money received from the deal with the kit supplier, as well as revenue from merchandise sales.

The top 10 dominated by teams from Europe’s big five leagues and the Lilywhites just crept into that list.

Tottenham kit revenue 2023

According to the UEFA report, Tottenham came in just inside the top 10 having generated a whopping €74m (£63.4m).

This was equal to Juventus who came in on the same level of revenue from their deal with Adidas.

However, the pair were dwarfed by Barcelona who comfortably earned top spot having generated €179m (£153m) in 2023.

But Spurs may take some pride in beating the likes of Manchester City who raised £62.6m despite becoming the treble winners.

Tottenham’s revenue making machine

It is probably fair to say the results on the pitch have not been able to match that off the pitch in north London recently.

The opening of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been a game changer for Daniel Levy with Spurs’ matchday revenue now considerably higher.

But the N17 stadium has also allowed Spurs to raise funds through their partnerships with the NFL and Formula One.

The club are also able to host music concerts following the conclusion of the season which has all enabled them to become a much bigger club financially speaking.

Although Tottenham are not a side who are expected to now go out and break transfer records, these revenues have allowed Spurs to operate without fear of breaching FFP.
