Crystal Palace duo Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise are reportedly set to miss tomorrow night’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

That’s according to South London News, with the outlet claiming that both players will miss out despite training this week.

Tottenham will have the opportunity to move five points clear at the top of the table on Friday evening with a win over Palace.

Spurs picked up a 2-0 win over Fulham on Monday evening but Ange Postecoglou wasn’t satisfied with his side’s second-half display.

Postecoglou will be looking for an improved all-round performance at Selhurst Park and Spurs have been handed a boost as Palace will be without Eze and Olise.

Eze and Olise to miss Palace vs Tottenham clash

South London News reports that Palace are set to be without Eze and Olise for tomorrow night’s clash.

It’s noted that both players trained this week and were back on the grass. But neither had taken part in first-team training until later this week.

Eze has proven to be a real dangerman for Palace over the past couple of years and was linked with some big moves over the summer.

Indeed, journalist Dean Jones claimed in August that Tottenham did explore a deal to sign Eze over the summer.

The 25-year-old has missed the past couple of games through injury and it seems he won’t be back in time for tomorrow night.

As for Olise, he’s yet to play a single minute this season as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

While Palace are missing arguably their two most influential players, Friday’s game will still pose a huge challenge for Tottenham.

It’s cliche but Selhurst Park is a difficult place to go for any top side and Spurs will need to be at their best to pick up three points.

But we think Tottenham will continue their brilliant run of form with a narrow win over the Eagles.
