Tottenham fixtures are coming thick and fast as the race for Champions League qualification continues to storm on.
Tottenham put their top four hopes back into their own hands as they dismantled rivals Aston Villa 4-0 at Villa Park. Spurs started the day five points behind Villa, with a game in-hand, but with the knowledge that it could swing in their favour with a victory.
The first half played out as a tactical stalemate, but exploded into life in the second half. James Maddison opened the scoring, finishing from a tempting cross across the face of the goal.
Brennan Johnson doubled that lead just minutes later, smashing the ball home from Heung-Min Son‘s pass-through. Unai Emery’s side were handed a further blow as John McGinn scythed down Destiny Udogie, resulting in a straight red card.
Spurs managed the rest of the game, opening the flood gates in added time as both Son and Timo Werner added their names to the scoresheet. It’s a huge boost for Tottenham as they look ahead to the final few weeks of the season.
With that said, here’s a look at the next five Tottenham fixtures and how they compare to Aston Villa and Manchester United in the top four race.

Tottenham fixtures
Fulham (A) – March 16
Next up for Tottenham is a trip across London to take on Fulham, which will be a huge game before the international break. The Craven Cottage outfit look unlikely to earn European football or face relegation, meaning something of a free hit.
Current league position: 12th.
Current form: Three wins, zero draws, two defeats.
Last head-to-head: Tottenham 2-0 Fulham – 23 October, 2023.

Luton Town (H) – March 30
The first game back after the international break marks the final stretch for the season, with Luton Town standing in the way. The Hatters have been fighting bravely against relegation and have caused plenty of problems for big teams this season.
Current league position: 18th.
Current form: Zero wins, one draw, four defeats.
Last head-to-head: Luton Town 0-1 Tottenham – 7 October 2023.

West Ham (A) – April 2
Another trip across London awaits for Spurs as they face West Ham at the London Stadium at the start of April. The Hammers have struggled for form in recent weeks, with questions over the future of David Moyes as head coach.
Current league position: 8th.
Current form: Two wins, zero draws, three defeats.
Last head-to-head: Tottenham 1-2 West Ham – 7 December, 2023.

Nottingham Forest (H) – April 8
Nottingham Forest are the following match, with the City Ground outfit looking to move clear of relegation troubles. Former Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo is currently in charge of Forest and will be looking to cause an upset.
Current league position: 17th.
Current form: One win, one draw, three defeats.
Last head-to-head: Nottingham Forest 0-2 Tottenham – 15 December, 2023.

Newcastle (A) – April 13
Ending the run of next five fixtures is a tough trip north to take on Newcastle United away. The Magpies have struggled this season, but are more than capable of causing problems, especially in front of their own crowd.
Current league position: 10th.
Current form: Two wins, two draws, one defeat.
Last head-to-head: Tottenham 4-1 Newcastle – 10 December, 2023.

Average opposition league position: 13th.
The run of fixtures coming up for Tottenham look slightly more favourable, but the Premier League causes plenty of twists and turns. Spurs will need to find some consistency to ensure they can secure a top four place.
Aston Villa fixtures
West Ham (A) – March 17
Wolves (H) – March 30
Manchester City (A) – April 3
Brentford (H) – April 6
Arsenal (A) – April 13
Average opposition league position: 7th.
Aston Villa have a tough run coming up, with clashes against Manchester City and Arsenal on the cards. Both matches are away from home too, which is far from ideal, especially following their defeat to Tottenham.

Man United fixtures
Brentford (A) – March 30
Chelsea (A) – April 4
Liverpool (H) – April 7
Bournemouth (A) – April 14
Newcastle (H) – April 20
Average opposition league position: 10th.
Manchester United will need a huge points swing to finish in the top four, but they aren’t out of the picture yet. Eight points separate them from Aston Villa and with a game against Liverpool coming up, it could be a tough ask.
