Tudor also added that he wants to play how the fans would demand: “This derby is a fantastic game to play. We want to play this game in a way that our fans will like.

“So, I’m going to give everything that we have, in the right way, brave, but in the same way intelligent and smart, to achieve what we want, and that’s the victory.”

The former Juventus and Lazio boss has the chance to quickly become a hero at Spurs by getting something from Sunday’s North London derby.

It will be very tricky considering the form of Mikel Arteta’s team, but Tudor is known for coming in and changing the fortunes of struggling teams.

During his time at Lazio and Juventus, he won five of his first ten games at both clubs, despite them struggling before his arrival.
