Tottenham have a number of youngsters out on loan, and at the weekend, one caused quite a stir.
Luka Vuskovic has been performing well at Hamburg, whilst Alfie Devine is attracting Premier League interest following some fine form with Preston in the Championship.
Those players, along with Mikey Moore, who is at Rangers, are a little bit further down the path than some other Tottenham youngsters, but nonetheless, Spurs appear to be using the loan market well.
Last week, Oliver Irow was loaned out to Mansfield Town in League One and after being an unused substitute against Sheffield United in the FA Cup, he was handed a debut from the bench against Port Vale.

Oliver Irow stars on EFL debut for Mansfield Town
With the Stags being held to a 0-0 draw by basement boys Port Vale on Saturday, Irow was thrown into the action at the half-time interval.

Irow’s first saw him show his poaching instincts, tapping home after a smart save from Ben Amos between the posts for the Valiants.
His second showcased his technical brilliance and an ability to score from all over the pitch, with Tottenham gem Irow cutting inside before curling a delightful effort into the top corner.

What Nigel Clough said about Tottenham starlet Oliver Irow
It’s fair to say that Clough was stunned by the immediate impact that Irow had on his team.
Given that this is his first EFL loan away from Tottenham, the youngster would have been forgiven for taking a little bit of time to settle into his new surroundings.
The gem wasn’t in the mood for that, though, and his two goals have now got the Mansfield fans excited at what might be on the horizon for the remainder of the season.
Clough told the Mansfield Chad: “Oliver has shown his quality and composure in training, so we thought why not give him a little run, though we never expected him to score twice.
“His finishes in training have been very similar to that. His second goal was absolutely outstanding. No goalkeeper in the world would save that.
“His mum, dad, and girlfriend were here today to see him make his league debut on his first loan, and it’s a brilliant start for him.”
Now, Tottenham will hope that Irow can start playing some games from the start and more crucially, keep scoring goals of this nature going forward.
