Tottenham get their pre-season kickstarted with a clash against Scottish side Hearts, intending to build up their fitness for the campaign ahead.
Spurs impressed in their first season under Ange Postecoglou, getting off to a quick start that saw them top the Premier League table.
The Tottenham boss implemented his fast, attacking style of play within a matter of weeks and won over the faithful fans.
However, as injuries crept in, so too did poor form as the Lilywhites ended the campaign in a difficult fashion.
Postecoglou had to settle for fifth in the league, securing Europa League football, which was certainly an improvement on the situation when he moved to Hotspur Way.
The challenge now is to keep on building, with pre-season kickstarting the preparations for the coming campaign.
Hearts are the first clash scheduled for Tottenham this summer – which isn’t behind closed doors – so with that said, here’s a look at everything you need to know about the match.
