Yves Bissouma was forced off with an injury during Mali’s 1-0 with over Eswatini raising concerns at Tottenham over his availability for the North London derby.
Bissouma limped off whilst on international duty having had his foot stamped on by an opposition player. Spurs face Arsenal after the international break in one of their biggest game of the season and will be desperate to have the midfielder available.
The 28-year-old is enjoying a good run of form too having scored three times in his first four matches for club and country this season. Ange Postecoglou has now been told what will happen next with his midfielder.

Bissouma to be assessed ahead of Arsenal
Bissouma will be assessed ahead of the North London derby after suffering a heavy knock against Eswatini, according to Ben Dinnery.
The Tottenham man scored the only goal of the game for Mali in their World Cup qualifier but was forced off after an hour.
Postecoglou now faces a nervous wait to see whether his holding midfielder will be available for selection or if he must look elsewhere in his squad.
Spurs were without Bissouma for their first game of the season as the club suspended him following a video he posted on social media of himself inhaling from a balloon.
How could Tottenham replace Bissouma vs Arsenal
If Bissouma is unable to feature, the most likely candidate to replace him in the North London derby would be Rodrigo Bentancur.
Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall are also contenders to come into the team, however, that seems unlikely given their lack of experience in such a massive match.
Postecoglou could revert back to a midfield trio of Bentancur, Maddison and Sarr, which is how his Spurs team lined up in their Premier League opener against Leicester.
Possible Tottenham line-up vs Arsenal (4-3-3): Vicario; Porro, Van de Ven, Romero, Udogie; Bentancur, Maddison, Sarr; Son, Kulusevski, Solanke.
