Tottenham gem Archie Gray deemed the most exciting Premier League signing so far this summer by two pundits
The Premier League website has published an article in which nine of their pundits made their predictions for the upcoming Premier League season.
One of the questions asked was who they thought was “the most exciting signing so far”.
Don Hutchison and Matt Holland named Archie Gray as their pick, and the Spurs talent is the only player to feature twice on that list.
By contrast, the likes of Riccardo Calafiori, Joshua Zirkzee and Amadou Onana were named in the list by just one pundit each.
Gray likely to feature often for Tottenham in coming months
At just 18 years of age, Gray has already made 52 appearances for Leeds, and he was a key player in their run to the Championship playoff final last year.
The Tottenham newcomer has very much picked up where he left off, and has been prominent in pre-season for Ange Postecoglou’s side.
There is no doubt that Gray is first-team ready, and it will be exciting to see how he does in his maiden season at Spurs.
With Tottenham set to compete in the Europa League this season, there’s a good chance we’ll see Gray in a fair bit of competitive action in the coming months.
