Tottenham Hotspur have picked up some fine players in recent years.
The likes of Cristian Romero, James Maddison, Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro have all been inspired pickups, whether that have been from Ange Postecoglou or Antonio Conte.
Dejan Kulusevski was another recent acquisition who looks like a bargain, he’s Tottenham Hotspur‘s most prized asset.
However, the value Tottenham got on Kulusevski is nothing like that of Destiny Udogie.

Destiny Udogie’s market value has skyrocketed
In August 2022 – Tottenham completed a deal with Udinese to sign their promising young left wing-back Udogie for a measly £15m.
Udogie, relatively unknown at the time, was sent back to the Serie A club for the season, but has come into the first-team squad under Postecoglou.
If he wasn’t known back then – he certainly isn’t now. Udogie has established himself as one of the Premier League’s finest full-backs.
His performances this season have earned him international recognition and have made sure there is no dispute about who is locking down the left-hand side of defence at Hotspur Way.
Because of his rise to fame in 2023 – his transfer market value has dramatically increased, quadrupled in fact.
CIES Football Observatory presents the 100 players across the world with the ‘highest estimated transfer value’.
Udogie was worth £15m, but according to them, he is now worth a whopping €78.3M (£67.4m). That’s some good business.
Destiny Udogie worth more than global superstars…
Udogie now is worth more than an array of global superstars, including the Premier League’s most expensive player ever – Moises Caicedo.
- Moises Caicedo – €77.8M
- Randal Kolo-Muani – €77.3M
- Ruben Dias – €76.5M
- Trent Alexander-Arnold – €76.0M
- Jack Grealish – €76.0M
Mightily impressive, with the figure only likely to rise.
