Gary Neville claims that Tottenham have a player who is good enough to start attracting the interest of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Spurs sent shock waves around the Premier League as they produced one of the most stunning results of the season by defeating the English champions 4-0.
The North London club emphatically ended City’s 52-game unbeaten run at the Etihad Stadium as Ange Postecoglou’s team once again got the better of Pep Guardiola.
James Maddison stole the headlines with his brace, however, there was another player whose performance stood out and helped the Lilywhites take all three points.

Gary Neville is a huge fan of Dejan Kulusevski
Gary Neville has been raving about the performance of Dejan Kulusevski against Manchester City after the midfielder ran the show at the Etihad Stadium.
Neville said on The Gary Neville Podcast: “He was brilliant. He was as good as James Maddison. Kulusevski was special out there. The way he ran past players, with his quality and strength, it was an absolutely fantastic performance.
“Kulusevski was and looks a serious player. He has become a hell of a player. His strength and running power is getting better, but he has a subtlety in beating players. He has a variation to his game now. He is a different player now.”
The Sky Sports pundit has now warned Tottenham that many of Europe’s major clubs might start looking at the Swede if he continues to perform the way he has done this season.
“This is a player that the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid begin to look at. I am not being disrespectful to Spurs, but that was the level of his performance and he has been like that for a while now. He was outstanding.”
What is Dejan Kulusevski’s record at the Etihad Stadium?
Kulusevski spoke about his love for playing City and after yet another goal contribution in Manchester, his record at the Etihad is quite remarkable. The 24-year-old now has six goal contributions in four games at the home of the Premier League champions.
The midfielder produced a wicked cross to set up Maddison’s opener in the win and he played a big role in the third goal too after a great surging run. Pep Guardiola has previously spoken about his admiration for the Swedish national team captain and he will now be sick of the sight of him.
