Tottenham Hotspur are set to receive a sell-on clause fee if Jack Clarke leaves Sunderland this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer ambitions have been well documented so far this summer, as the club prepares to fight on all fronts having qualified for the Europa League.
In order to raise the funds needed, the club are reportedly open to selling the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Emerson Royal and Richarlison – according to The Telegraph.
The club’s transfer war chest could also be helped out by the fact former Spurs winger, Jack Clarke, could be on the move this summer, thanks to a sell-on clause inserted in the Sunderland man’s contract.
Jack Clarke’s failed Tottenham move

Joining Spurs in the summer of 2019, there was a lot of excitement surrounding the youngster following his £8.5 million pound move from Leeds United.
Initially signed by Mauricio Pochettino, Clarke soon became surplus to requirements under the likes of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte, who opted for more experienced stars.
Clarke would go out on loan in search of game time, but unsuccessful loans at QPR and Stoke City eventually lead to the club selling Clarke, in the summer of 2022.
Joining Championship side Sunderland for an undisclosed fee, Clarke has transformed into of the EFL’s brightest stars, notching 15 goals and four assists last season.
Sunderland sale could land Tottenham millions

Clarke’s blistering form over the past two years has attracted a number of Premier League suitors, with the likes of Wolves and Crystal Palace said to be interested in the 23-year-old – according to GiveMeSport.
Likely to lose Clarke this summer, Sunderland have set their asking price to between £25-30 million which potentially land Tottenham a fee of £6.25-7.5 million due to their reported 25% sell-on clause.
A nice windfall for Spurs which could be used in their pursuit of a new forward.
