Tottenham loanee in high demand after averaging a goal contribution every 94 minutes for his new side

Tottenham Hotspur have a fair few players on loan this season.

The likes of Japhet Tanganga, Alfie Devine, Eric Dier and now most recently Alejo Veliz have all sought out game time away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It’s a chance to make a statement to Ange Postecoglou, in the hopes that come the 24/25 season, there may be a spot in the first-team squad waiting for them.

One of those players is Troy Parrott, who has been making waves during his spell afar from Hotspur Way. This has also attracted interest from other potential suitors.

Troy Parrott scores again away from Spurs

Parrott has been enduring a fine season at Excelsior Rotterdam, where he bagged yet another goal as they lost 2-1 at Almere City on Friday night.

Parrott, 22, now has 10 goal involvements in 17 Eredivisie matches, with seven goals and three assists. That’s a G/A every 94 minutes.

This also included a stunning MOTM performance recently – which has led a lot of teams to take note of the Northern Ireland international.

Troy Parrott is in demand

According to football.london, Parrott has attracted interest from clubs in Serie A, the Eredivisie and the Championship.

However, they also report that Parrott remains desperate to prove himself at Tottenham. He has a contract with Spurs until 2025 and there is understood to be an option within it for the club to extend that by another year.

He is in the bracket of wanting to catch Postecogou’s attention, given the fact a bad injury robbed him of a chance last summer. Wel, he’s certainly made a good start. Well in, Troy.
