Catch all the latest Tottenham injury news and return dates as a huge clash with Aston Villa is on the horizon.
Tottenham are preparing for one of their biggest clashes of the season as they face off with Aston Villa. The Villains are currently in the driving seat to finish fourth, which would earn them Champions League qualification.
The current gap sits at five points, but Spurs hold a game in hand, meaning a win would reinstate them as favourites. Ange Postecoglou rallied his side to move from one goal down last time out to beat Crystal Palace 3-1.
Unai Emery’s team are in red hot form though, with four wins in their last five and a decent record at Villa Park. Tottenham have a few injury issues before the clash, though there are hopes of one potential return coming.
With that said, here’s a look at the latest Tottenham injury news and return dates for the Aston Villa clash.

Tottenham injury list
The Tottenham injury list currently consists of six absentees, while two of those could make a return against Aston Villa and one is another doubt. Manor Solomon, Fraser Forster and Ryan Sessegnon are all long-term issues that will take some recovery time.
Meanwhile Pedro Porro and Richarlison could be involved following injury problems. Pape Matar Sarr did feature against Crystal Palace from the bench, but Postecoglou confirmed some discomfort.
Pedro Porro injury latest
Pedro Porro has missed out on recent clashes after picking up a muscle strain in training, leading to a spell on the sidelines. The right-back was expected to face a fortnight away from action, which included the Crystal Palace clash last time out.
Postecoglou claimed Porro was one week away from a return at the time, though he is yet to be spotted in training images or videos. There is hope that the Spaniard will feature against Aston Villa though.
Expected return date: Aston Villa (A) – March 10.

Richarlison injury latest
Tottenham forward Richarlison suffered a knee injury that kept him out of the clash with Crystal Palace. Postecoglou stated in his press conference that the issue would force the Brazilian to miss out on three weeks of action.
However, that was thrown up in the air as Richarlison told ESPN Brasil: “No, it’s fine. Didn’t you see the sprint I had when we scored? So I’m already training, I’ll be on the pitch tomorrow and I think I’ll be ready for the game next Saturday.”
Expected return date: Unknown.
Pape Matar Sarr injury latest
Pape Matar Sarr is a slight injury concern after the Tottenham midfielder made a short cameo against Crystal Palace. Postecoglou confirmed that a back issue had been plaguing the youngster, as he told the media, via Football London: “He’s had a bit of a back issue since he got back from sort of the Africa Cup of Nations.
“He’s been dealing with it and it’s getting better but it’s not sort of totally free, so it’s something we’re working on with him. It doesn’t stop him training, he’s still been training, but it does restrict him, it’s something we’re constantly working on but from what I understand he’ll be fine. Like I said he hasn’t missed training so it’s just something we’re working on with him.”
Expected return date: Aston Villa (A) – March 10.

Fraser Forster injury latest
Goalkeeper Fraser Forster suffered a fracture in his foot that is set to keep him on the sidelines for a lengthy spell. It remains to be seen whether the former England international will be back in the squad before the end of the season.
Expected return date: Unknown.
Ryan Sessegnon injury latest
Ryan Sessegnon has been plagued with injuries throughout the past year, with yet another setback handed to the full-back. A fresh hamstring injury requires surgery and will keep the 23-year-old out of action for the remainder of the season.
Expected return date: Pre-season 2024/25.

Manor Solomon injury latest
Summer signing Manor Solomon has suffered a meniscus injury in his knee that has kept him out of action so far. A recent setback in February required surgery, with the winger now expecting to face longer on the sidelines.
Expected return date: Unknown.
