Tottenham injury latest: Ange Postecolgou without key players for Fulham and beyond

Tottenham Hotspur’s list of injured players continues to grow as manager Ange Postecoglou faces a number of selection dilemmas for the upcoming Premier League fixture against Fulham.

The international break has not been too kind to Spurs, with Cristian Romero suffering a fresh injury. There has also been an update on club captain Son Heung-Min.

With the Premier League and other cup competitions set to heap added pressure on Tottenham’s medical team, here’s the full list of players currently nursing an injury for Spurs as of the 18th of October 2023.

Son Heung Min injury latest

Heung-min Son has confirmed he played through the pain for South Korea as he did not want to disappoint fans back home.

The injury doesn’t seem too bad and he should be available by the time it comes around to facing Fulham in the league.

Expected Return: Fulham (October 23rd)

Cristian Romero injury latest

Spurs center-back Cristian Romero appeared to suffer an injury for Argentina when they faced Peru.

The Argentine showed ‘signs of discomfort‘ in the first 45 and was substituted for the start of the second half.

Little is known about this yet, but it doesn’t look too serious.

Expected Return: Fulham (October 23rd)

Rodrigo Bentancur injury latest

Rodrigo Bentancur has had quite a serious knee injury for some time now.

The only real indication of an update in his recovery is when he was pictured in first-team training on September 14th. Nothing has been speculated since, but he’s well on his road to a full recovery.

Brennan Johnson injury latest

Brennan Johnson suffered a hamstring injury in the North London Derby and hasn’t played a single minute since.

Standard Sport reported that Postecoglou‘s new signing is hoping he can return against Fulham.

Ryan Sessegnon injury latest

Positive signs recently as at the end of September, Ryan Sessegnon was seen training.

He had surgery in the summer on his hamstring and hasn’t featured this season. It is expected he will be back in the coming months.

Expected Return: November/December

Manor Solomon injury latest

Surgery was also necessary for Manor Solomon, who picked up a knee injury in training.

Tottenham confirmed the surgery for Solomon and said the forward faces a lengthy spell on the sideline.

It was reported on the 5th of October he will be back in the frame in around two months.

Ivan Perisic injury latest

This man will be out for some time. The Croatian veteran Ivan Perisic suffered a season-ending knee injury, which has led to many thinking he’s played his final games for Spurs.
