Catch all the latest Tottenham injury news ahead of a clash with Aston Villa in the race for the top four.
Tottenham‘s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League could be decided in their clash with Aston Villa. Both teams are in the race for a top four finish this season, heading into the final few months remaining.
Villa are in the driving seat, sitting five points clear of Spurs but with an extra game played at this stage. Victory would move Unai Emery’s side into a commanding position that would be tough to shake them from.
However, Ange Postecoglou is unlikely to back down from a challenge and a win for his squad would move them within two points with a game in hand. The impact of injuries over the coming weeks could also play their part at the top.
So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Tottenham injury news ahead of the crunch match with Aston Villa.

Tottenham injury list
The current injury list for Tottenham sits at six potential absentees for their clash against Aston Villa. Three of those are long-term problems, with Fraser Forster, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon definitely missing out.
Postecoglou confirmed that Richarlison hasn’t trained and looks set to miss out, while doubts hover over Pape Matar Sarr. Pedro Porro is in line to return against Aston Villa.
Pedro Porro injury latest
Right-back Pedro Porro has been missing from the previous few games due to a muscle issue he picked up in training. Fortunately, it appears as though the Spaniard has managed to overcome those issues to return to action.
“Coming back. Pedro [Porro] is good, he’s trained all week so no problem,” Postecoglou told the media, via Football London.
Expected return date: Aston Villa (A) – March 10.

Pape Matar Sarr injury latest
There have been concerns for midfielder Pape Matar Sarr following the win over Crystal Palace. The youngster could only feature from the bench against the Eagles and was seen struggling with a slight injury.
Postecoglou confirmed that there was a back issue that had been present in recent weeks. It remains to be seen how involved Sarr will be, though the manager had said: “Everyone from last week [Crystal Palace] is fit and available.”
Expected return date: Aston Villa (A) – March 10.
Richarlison injury latest
Richarlison missed out on the clash with Crystal Palace with a knee injury that looked set to sideline him for a few weeks. Confusion ensued following the match though, as the forward appeared to suggest he would be back in time to face Aston Villa.
That won’t be the case though, as the manager confirmed: “Everyone else, including Richy [Richarlison], is still not training with the main group so unavailable.”
Expected return date: Unknown.

Fraser Forster injury latest
Goalkeeper Fraser Forster is set for a spell out of the first-team after he picked up a fracture in his foot during training. It’s currently unknown when the experienced shot-stopper will be back in action for Spurs.
Expected return date: Unknown.
Ryan Sessegnon injury latest
Ryan Sessegnon has struggled to shake off injuries over the past year, making only one appearance in that time. A recent hamstring issue has required yet more surgery, with another spell out of action now scheduled for the 23-year-old.
Expected return date: Unknown.

Manor Solomon injury latest
Winger Manor Solomon has only managed a few appearances for the club since signing last summer. A knee injury has kept him out of action, though a return was expected by now and has been thwarted by further complications.
Expected return date: Unknown.
